Baseball Recap: Beulah Comes Up Short

Beulah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly five runs.

Beulah saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Lowery, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Aeson Yarbrough also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Beulah's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Alabama Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beulah will face off against Lee-Scott Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they will challenge Tallassee at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
