Trinity Christian Academy proved they can win big  last Friday (they won by 25) and  on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  59-57  victory over the Lake Region Thunder. The  win was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three  matches in a row.
 Lake Region's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jaden McCoy, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and ten  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  McCoy a new career-high in  points.  Lynkon Ricks was another key player,  going 5 for 9  en route to 11 points.
Trinity Christian Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Lake Region, their defeat was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 3-16.
 Trinity Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  74-42  victory against Taylor on the 21st. Lake Region has also  already played their next match,  a  62-55  win against Tenoroc on the 20th.
