Hamilton barely beat Lawrenceville School the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Big Red a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Hornets have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hamilton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Lawrenceville School, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Hamilton will host Princeton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lawrenceville School, they will challenge Blair Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bucs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Big Red's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
