Basketball Recap: Logan Extends Winning Streak to Three

Logan entered their tilt with Scott on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 57-44 win over the Scott Skyhawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-46 back in January.

Rikki Bailey and Kelsey Harper certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Bailey went 5 of 11 en route to 17 points, while Harper dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Harper is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played.

Logan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Scott, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will take on Wyoming East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Scott, they will face off against Poca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scott is facing Poca at the right time seeing as Poca is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
