Volleyball Recap: Wake Prep Academy Guardians vs. Nash Central Bulldogs
After flying high against American Leadership Academy-Johnston last Thursday, Wake Prep Academy came back down to earth. The Guardians fell 3-1 to the Nash Central Bulldogs on Tuesday.
While Wake Prep Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 25-23.
Josie Osborne paced Wake Prep Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Osborne got some help from Harper Maxwell and her 45 assists. Brennyn Langlois controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Wake Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Nash Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
