Volleyball Recap: Burns Comes Up Short

Burns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Newcastle Dogies, falling 3-0. The Broncs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dogies earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Burns ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Burns' loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Newcastle, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-16.

Coincidentally, Burns and Newcastle will both be playing Glenrock the next time they take the court. The Broncs will host the Herders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Dogies will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
