Softball Recap: Toledo Takes a Loss

If Toledo was riding high fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Waldport on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Boomers lost 11-1 to the Kennedy Trojans on Sunday. The loss continues a trend for the Boomers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Toledo's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Kennedy, the win was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Kennedy has already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Sheridan on the 11th. Hopefully Toledo paid attention to the Trojans' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
