Volleyball Recap: Gateway Tech Comes Up Short

The Gateway Tech Jaguars came up short against the Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Gateway Tech had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-23.

Gateway Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Maplewood-Richmond Heights, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway Tech will face off against Chaminade at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maplewood-Richmond Heights, they will square off against St. Mary's South Side at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
