Football Recap: Upper Dublin Takes a Loss

Upper Dublin lost against Central Bucks West back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals lost to the Bucks on the road by a 24-7 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Bucks are ranked 32nd).

Lawson Tyler threw for 170 yards and one TD. Anthony Paone was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Ronald Shepherd rushed for 37 yards.

Upper Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Bucks West, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Upper Dublin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 21-0 loss against Central Bucks South on the 5th. As for Central Bucks West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Souderton on the 5th.
