If Goldwater was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Crismon on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-14.

Saila Vakameilalo paced Goldwater's offense, picking up ten kills. Vakameilalo got some help from Brandan Tran and his 17 assists.

ALA - Gilbert North found their leader in sophomore Cash Price, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Goldwater's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That lines up perfectly with their 32-8 record this season.

Goldwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against ALA - Queen Creek on the 15th.
