Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop Lynch Friars vs. Prestonwood Christian Lions + How To Watch

Bishop Lynch hasn't had much luck against Prestonwood Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Friars will challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bishop Lynch sitting on four straight victories and Prestonwood Christian on ten.

Bishop Lynch hadn't beaten Ursuline Academy on the road since October 27, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Friars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bears.

Bishop Lynch had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Prestonwood Christian duked it out with John Paul II on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0.

While Prestonwood Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21.

Prestonwood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Bishop Lynch, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

Bishop Lynch suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Prestonwood Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Friars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
