Soccer Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston lost against Amory back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hilltoppers lost 7-0 to the Panthers. Houston have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Amory, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston and Itawamba Agricultural will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amory, they will be home for the holidays to greet North Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amory's defense better be ready for this one: North Pontotoc have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season.
