Basketball Recap: Deshaun Henderson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Leopold

Charleston won the last time they faced Leopold and things went their way on Monday too. The Charleston Bluejays came out on top against the Leopold Wildcats by a score of 62-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charleston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deshaun Henderson, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Treshaun Schandon, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards.

Charleston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Charleston's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Leopold, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Coincidentally, Charleston and Leopold will both be playing Advance the next time they take the court. Leopold will head out to face Advance at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Charleston will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
