Basketball Recap: Dany Carreon Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win + How To Watch

After losing to University City the last time they met, Calexico decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs secured a 41-37 W over the Centurions on Monday.

Calexico's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dany Carreon, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Alberto Castro, who earned six points and three steals.

University City lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jeein Kim, who put up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Mandrell Jr., who scored five points and eight boards.

Calexico now has a winning record of 2-1. As for University City, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Calexico has already played their next matchup, a 69-38 win against O'Farrell Charter on the 25th. As for University City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-54 defeat against Patrick Henry on the 25th.
