Baseball Recap: Boerum Hill Comes Up Short

Boerum Hill entered their matchup against Prospect Heights on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Boerum Hill fell 20-17 to Prospect Heights. Boerum Hill was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Prospect Heights earlier this season, when they won 13-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Boerum Hill and nudges their season record down to 8-2. As for Prospect Heights, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Boerum Hill will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Robeson Business Tech at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Prospect Heights, they will head out to square off against Banneker Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Banneker Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something Prospect Heights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
