Volleyball Recap: Cienega Comes Up Short

After flying high against Desert View on Wednesday, Cienega came back down to earth. The Bobcats came up short against the Canyon del Oro Dorados on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Dorados recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cienega's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Canyon del Oro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Cienega and Canyon del Oro will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bobcats see the court they'll take on Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Canyon del Oro, their break will end when they face Flowing Wells at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
