Baseball Recap: Enterprise Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Enterprise's offense. They came up short against the West Valley Eagles on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Enterprise has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for West Valley, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Enterprise will take on Mt. Shasta at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. As for West Valley, they will face off against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cubs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.91 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
