Soccer Recap: Caprock Comes Up Short

Caprock fell victim to Monterey and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monterey Plainsmen. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caprock's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Monterey, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Caprock will be playing at home against Amarillo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Amarillo's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Caprock's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Monterey, they will head out to square off against Lubbock at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
