Basketball Game Preview: Cocoa Beach Minutemen vs. Titusville Terriers

Cocoa Beach is 0-10 against Titusville since January of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The two teams will face off at 5:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Cocoa Beach is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Melbourne on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 48-28. The match marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Titusville came up short against Merritt Island on Thursday and fell 48-38.

Titusville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Cocoa Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Cocoa Beach might still be hurting after the 58-32 defeat they got from Titusville in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Cocoa Beach avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
