Basketball Recap: Hartville Takes a Loss

Hartville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-32 loss at the hands of the Forsyth Panthers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Hartville's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Forsyth, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-13.

Hartville and Forsyth could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Hartville will take on Norwood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday down 174 places (252 vs. 78). Meanwhile, Forsyth (ranked 402nd) will meet Strafford (ranked tenth) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
