Basketball Recap: Rush Springs Victorious

Rush Springs hadn't done well against Walters recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rush Springs Redskins managed a 48-42 win over the Walters Blue Devils. For the Redskins, this counts as revenge for the 59-28 victory the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Rush Springs is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Walters, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Rush Springs (ranked 368th) will meet Sterling (ranked 96th) at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Walters will face off against Central at 1:00 p.m. on Friday down 286 places (427 vs. 141).
