Football Recap: Sunray Comes Up Short

Sunray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Childress, falling 72-22. Sunray was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Childress apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Sunray took the loss, they still got scores from Adam Amaya, Gabe Garcia, and Dominik Dominguez.

Sunray's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Childress, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Sunray will venture away from home to challenge Canadian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Childress, they will host City View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
