Macon County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Greenbrier Bobcats get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Bobcats are ranked 258th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Macon County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Greenbrier, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Macon County will be playing at home against Trousdale County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenbrier, they will face off against Whites Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Cobras have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
