Recap: Livingston Lions vs. Hargrave Falcons
It was a good run, but the Livingston Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 66-46 loss at the hands of Hargrave. Livingston has struggled against the Falcons recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Livingston's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tearance Gray, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Gray has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Tyrell Fagan was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Hargrave, they pushed their record up to 20-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Livingston will take on the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamshire-Fannett presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lions in Texas (the Longhorns are ranked 235th, while the Lions are ranked 640th). As for Hargrave, they will head out on the road to take on the Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
