Volleyball Recap: Prosser Falcons vs. Lincoln Park Lions
Prosser lost against Lincoln Park back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-13 in the first set.
Prosser actually scored more points across those three sets (66-63), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-23, 25-18.
Rauly Hernandez paced Prosser's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hernandez got some help from Micah Kholodenko and his 21 assists. Hernandez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
Prosser has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Lincoln Park, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.
Prosser wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Roosevelt on the 30th. As for Lincoln Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Payton College Prep on the 28th.
