Basketball Recap: Christian Academy Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Christian Academy Warriors were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-51 to the Jeffersontown Chargers.

When it comes to explaining why Christian Academy lost, don't look at David Cook. Despite the final result, he went 10 of 19 on his way to 24 points and seven rebounds. Cook's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Joshua Renfro was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 12 points.

Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Jeffersontown, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Christian Academy will challenge Paoli at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Jeffersontown has already played their next game (against Shawnee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
