Basketball Recap: White County Takes a Loss

White County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 53-45 to the Lumpkin County Indians. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Indians are ranked 198th).

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lumpkin County, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

White County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-62 loss against North Hall on the 17th. As for Lumpkin County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-44 defeat against Greater Atlanta Christian on the 17th.
