Chester strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Flandreau Fliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chester took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-13, 25-3.

Gracie J Huntimer was nothing short of spectacular: she had nine digs and nine aces. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high.

J Huntimer wasn't the only good server: Chester was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Chester's record now sits at 9-0. As for Flandreau, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Chester has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against McCook Central/Montrose on the 11th. As for Flandreau, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Garretson on the 11th.
