Baseball Game Preview: Byron Tigers vs. Warren/Stockton Warhawks

Byron is a perfect 4-0 against Warren/Stockton since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Warhawks at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Warren/Stockton will be up against a hot Byron squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 20. The Tigers blew past Genoa-Kingston 15-4 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly 11 runs.

Meanwhile, Warren/Stockton never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Polo as they made off with a 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warhawks in their matchups with the Marcos: they've now won four in a row.

Byron pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Warren/Stockton, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.
