Football Recap: Theodore Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Theodore suffered their closest loss since August 30, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Spanish Fort Toros by a score of 23-21. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 24-21 to the Toros when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Theodore lost, don't look at Kendrick Able Jr.. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Crishon Overton, who rushed for 93 yards on only 11 carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Theodore and nudges their season record down to 0-2. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 26.0 points this season. As for Spanish Fort, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
