Football Recap: Theodore Gets the Win + How To Watch

After losing to Spanish Fort the last time they met, Theodore decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bobcats came out on top against the Toros by a score of 28-17 on Friday. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Bobcats were the (much) better team in the second half.

Kendrick Able Jr. went supernova, rushing for 143 yards and two TDs on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in August of 2024. Crishon Overton helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards.

Several Toros players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin 'JuJu' Bonner, who rushed for 113 yards on only 14 carries.

The victory got Theodore back to even at 1-1. As for Spanish Fort, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Theodore is set to square off against their familiar foe McGill-Toolen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Spanish Fort will face off against rival Baldwin County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
