The South Iredell Vikings will head out to face off against the Central Davidson Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Iredell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

South Iredell came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-1 to Mooresville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since March 14th.

South Iredell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Constable, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Central Davidson might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-1 to Oak Grove, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Spartans have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for South Iredell, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
