Basketball Recap: 15 Straight Home Victories for Pickett County

Pickett County entered their tilt with Clarkrange on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 67-55 win over the Clarkrange Buffaloes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Pickett County's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Clarkrange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pickett County Bobcats take on the Stone Memorial Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clarkrange, they will square off against Gordonsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
