Basketball Recap: HEART HomeSchool vs. Ezekiel Academy Knights
HEART HomeSchool kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ezekiel Academy Knights.
Gerard Johnson went supernova for Ezekiel Academy, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kelson Free, who scored 15 points plus seven steals.
The victory (which was Ezekiel Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
HEART HomeSchool will square off against First Assembly Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Ezekiel Academy has already played their next contest, a 75-41 defeat against Southeastern HomeSchool on the 2nd.
