Volleyball Recap: East Jefferson Takes a Loss

East Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benton Tigers.

East Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Benton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

East Jefferson will host Covenant Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy on the 20th.
