Basketball Recap: Oskaloosa's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After losing to Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] the last time they met, Oskaloosa decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Oskaloosa Bears snuck past the Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones with a 36-31 victory on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got Oskaloosa back to even at 3-3. As for Riverside [Wathena/Elwood], their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Horton the next time they take the court. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will host Horton on Tuesday, while Oskaloosa will head out to face them on January 10th.
