Basketball Game Preview: White Longhorns vs. Mansfield Tigers

The White Longhorns will square off against the Mansfield Tigers at 1:50 p.m. on Friday. White has given up an average of 60.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

White saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 64-52 to Canyon. The matchup marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mansfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 77-58 win over Kingdom Collegiate Academy. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Mansfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for White, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
