Soccer Recap: Overhills Comes Up Short

Overhills fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Terry Sanford on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Terry Sanford Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Overhills' goal came courtesy of Skylar Hayes, who's now up to three this season.

Overhills' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4. As for Terry Sanford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
