Baseball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lincoln's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morton Potters on Tuesday. The Railsplitters have struggled against the Potters recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Morton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Lincoln will venture away from home to challenge Metamora at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Morton, they will host Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
