Basketball Recap: Itasca Takes a Loss

The Itasca Wampus Cats lost 50-30 to the Nolan Catholic Vikings on Tuesday.

Itasca's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Nolan Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Itasca will square off against Dawson at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so the Wampus Cats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Nolan Catholic, they will challenge Lake Belton at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' defense better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 61.9 points per game this season.
