Kevin Coleman headlines look at the Show Me State's top senior prospects according to 247Sports.

Ahead of the 2021 high school football season, MaxPreps is breaking down the top senior prospects in the country state-by-state as rated by 247Sports. We continue the series with Missouri, which opens play Aug. 27.

As the only 5-star recruit, St. Mary's (St. Louis) wide receiver Kevin Coleman is by far the state's top prospect. Coleman has been compared to a young Emmanuel Sanders, of the New Orleans Saints.

Wide receiver and defensive lineman each boasted five players among the state's Top 25, but the leader was defensive backs (six), followed by running back, tight end, offensive linemen and linebacker with two each. Not a single quarterback was picked among the Top 25 prospects in the state.

As of Aug. 10, 16 of the 25 made commitments to colleges, headlined by the University of Missouri as the top destination spot with six players, followed by Iowa State with three. No other school had more than one.
The state's No. 12 senior recruit Cameron Epps (7) stars on both sides of the ball for Chaminade.
