The matchup between Derry and Indiana on Friday hardly resembled the 21-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Trojans fell 41-34 to the Little Indians. On the bright side, the 34- point performance marked the Trojans' highest-scoring match to date.

When it comes to explaining why Derry lost, don't look at Max Doherty. Despite the final result, he rushed for 222 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Derry's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Indiana, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Derry will welcome Southmoreland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Scotties' defense has only allowed 7.6 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Indiana, they will host Knoch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
