Soccer Game Preview: Seven Rivers Christian vs. University Christian

The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors will challenge the University Christian Christians at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Seven Rivers Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff game last Thursday. They fell just short of Mount Dora Christian Academy by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Seven Rivers Christian's goal came courtesy of Reese McDougal, who's now up to 22 this season.

Meanwhile, University Christian fell victim to Christ's Church Academy and their airtight defense last Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Christians haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

University Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
