Covenant Christian entered their tilt with First Baptist on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Saints 66-48.

When it comes to explaining why First Baptist lost, don't look at Dylan Jones. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points and five rebounds. Jones' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reiter Hellmuth, who had 11 points.

Covenant Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for First Baptist, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Covenant Christian will take on Nolan Catholic in a tournament on Thursday. As for First Baptist, they will head out to face off against Yavneh Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
