Basketball Recap: Harrison Central Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

If Ocean Springs wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Harrison Central, they should've done a better job of containing Saniyah Murray. The Harrison Central Red Rebels took down the Ocean Springs Greyhounds 56-42 on Monday thanks in part to Murray, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last six times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Autumn Keeler, who posted 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (three).

Harrison Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Ocean Springs, they dropped their record down to 6-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Harrison Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-44 victory against St. Martin on the 28th. As for Ocean Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-25 loss against Biloxi on the 29th.
