Norris came tearing into Saturday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 89-47 victory over the Lewis Central Titans. Norris has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Norris' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macoy Folkerts, who went 7 for 9 en route to 20 points. The dominant performance gave Folkerts a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Evan Greenfield, who made all 7 shots he took racking up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Norris smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Norris' victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Lewis Central, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Norris will welcome Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norris knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hastings likes a good challenge. As for Lewis Central, they will be playing at home against Sioux City North at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
