Makya Pendleton posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
