Wilcox entered their tilt with Fremont on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Firebirds by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-16.

Hanako Stone paced Wilcox's offense, picking up 21 kills. Stone got some help from Kelsy Mock and her 45 assists. Sienna Spencer controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Despite the loss, Fremont still got an impressive performance from Zoe Shie, who had 12 digs and three aces. Shie has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last four times she's played.

Wilcox's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Fremont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Wilcox didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lynbrook on the 22nd. As for Fremont, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Cupertino on the 22nd.
