It's playoff time, and Fayetteville Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Fayetteville Academy, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Kelsey Tart and Clementine Domguia scored all seven of Fayetteville Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 53 goals.

The win was the third in a row for Fayetteville Academy, bringing their record up to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three games. As for St. Thomas More Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9-1.
