Basketball Recap: Poly Gets the Win

The third road contest was the charm for Poly, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They had just enough and edged out the Fullerton Indians 53-50.

Fullerton's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Jadon Reed and Braxton Wink. Reed posted 16 points and six rebounds, while Wink had 14 points. Wink is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Luka M Serratos was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

The win got Poly back to even at 2-2. As for Fullerton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Poly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-42 loss against Villa Park on the 22nd. As for Fullerton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-44 defeat against Trabuco Hills on the 22nd.
